When I organised this photoshoot, I wanted to team up with makeup artists who I love but I haven’t worked with before on bo***ir!
I was lucky enough to have the incredible makeup artists MELISSA | GIPPSLAND MAKEUP ARTIST & LATU - GIPPSLAND MAKEUP ARTIST as well as beautiful bridal hair stylist Bridal, Wedding & Event Hair - Melbourne & Gippsland who I work with quite often on real weddings as part of the glam team.
Also having my beautiful friend and model Rheannon Johns capturing BTS and being my assistant for the day!
My stunning models V & Melody McKenzie who I met at the start of this year at the Frame Her Collective shoot who I vibed with and they’re both the sweetest souls!
For my first ever styled photoshoot with a whole team and venues, I wanted the vibes to be friendly and welcoming and for everyone to have the best day together while having fun!
In the past I have been part of some amazing Collab photoshoots as the makeup artist and absolutely love working with other vendors, but there have also been experiences where I haven’t been treated very nicely and even made to look like I wasnt even part of the day. Being part of one specifically organised for an entry for a bridal magazine, which made a feature into the magazine where every vendor was mentioned except for me..
This feeling is something I would never wish someone in my presence to feel and I hope that I can create a space where everyone feels included and appreciated for their talent! I have loved organising and being part of a team for this day and can’t wait to share the images soon! 🥰💖
