What to do on a 🌧 day?

The sound of rain is so soothing, especially when it hits metal.

Haven’t posted anything for such a long time due to life & not feeling very creative or having the urge to get out a shoot, but when the urge comes it can come at the strangest time.

Beauty & The Smog

Amazing sunrise 🌅 view from Petersons Lookout. Not sure whether I should of removed the Yallourn Power Station pollution or not?

I am a regular YouTube watcher & thought that all of the North American & European photographers were extremely lucky for the places they lived & the photographic opportunities they have. We might not have the sheer mountains & other iconic locations that they have but there is so much to been seen in your local area.

Explore your own backyard, it is amazing what is out there.

Cue plan B

After venturing into the city Sunday February 7th hoping to capture Melbhenge (this is when the setting sun lines up perfectly with Collins Street) and with Mother Nature having other ideas I needed a plan B.

So I headed down to Southbank for some long exposure Cityscapes.

Experimented with some timelapse.

Clouds ☁️ are so mesmerising. Whether it is laying on your back & looking up into the sky to watch the clouds roll by or picking out shapes the clouds have made, it is always captivating.

What do you think? Let me know.

I am loving the way that long exposures of seascapes really flatten out the ocean & make them look so much calmer than they really are. A great way to make a so so image look that much better.

I experimented with Monochrome as well. Let me know your preference.

Amazing how the fallen tree gives new life to all of this moss.

Cannot wait for this new Victorian regional lockdown to be over so I can get back & explore some more. Many more compositions to be discovered.
