Sunsets remind me
of our insignificance
they’re too immense
and lovely
for our mortality to mean much no offense
but then the sunrise!
and all over I’m eager again
for our little mortal happenings
and to see the day’s pretty end.

On Saturday the team at JLYP had the honour of photographing the Murun-dhu First Nations 2025 concert. An evening for all to relax, reflect together and to enjoy the incredibly talented and deadly First Nation artsits, Lollipop, Dookie, Xavier and Philly. A surprise visit from the 'Walk of Honour' award winners, Aunty Dot and Uncle Hewitt Whyman, stirred the crowd with an overwhelming sense of pride and celebration.
