Every so often I take a little break from S&S and I did so recently without even really meaning to. I had planned to take a couple of weeks off but life had other ideas and instead of forcing it, I gave myself permission to rest a little longer. And it turns out it was exactly what I needed.

When life gets a little busy, my creative energy goes quiet and sometimes I find myself going through the motions just trying to get by rather than being fuelled by doing something I love.

I can honestly say I've come back feeling lighter, more inspired and completely motivated to put all my exciting plans into motion.

We're stepping into Spring and the festive season, and I’m very excited for what's coming up. ✨

**UPDATE**

Sometimes the best thing you can do for a project you really care about is give it a little bit more more time. 🌷

After a lot of thought, we’ve decided to postpone the Women of Koroit project.

This project was created to celebrate the women, businesses and community connections that make Koroit what it is and there are a few pieces of that story that we don’t want to do it without.

With some key participants unavailable at the moment, rather than trying to push ahead and make the original date work, we’re going to wait until we can give this the time, support and energy it deserves.

To everyone who has already put their hand up, shared the project, helped behind the scenes or been excited about what we’re creating - thank you. I’ll be in touch directly with those who have booked and I’ll share our new plans as soon as the time is right. ❤️

The old Koroit Motor Garage is where we'll be creating the portraits for Women of Koroit and I genuinely cannot wait to see this space filled with local women, bringing this vision to life! ✨️

I've been leaving some not-so-subtle hints about this upcoming event and I'm excited to finally announce the Women of Koroit project is now live! 🌹

This September, we’re taking over the iconic old Koroit garage for a day of vintage-inspired portraits, with all funds raised supporting the Crystal Lee Foundation.

The has been kind enough to lend us some of their clothing, we've got on florals and are looking for 5 wonderful female business owners from Koroit to step into the spotlight and collaborate with us too! 🤩
