On this blessed day of Eid al-Adha 1447 AH, the Rohingya Solidarity Organization (RSO) extends its warmest greetings and heartfelt solidarity to the entire Muslim Ummah, and especially to our resilient Rohingya brothers and sisters , in the refugee camps, in the diaspora, and those still enduring oppression in the homeland of Arakan.
Eid al-Adha is the celebration of ultimate sacrifice and complete submission to the will of Allah. It reminds us of Prophet Ibrahim (AS) who was willing to sacrifice his most beloved son in obedience to his Lord. Allah replaced it with a ram and blessed him with honor that echoes through time.
Today, the Rohingya people are living this spirit of sacrifice. For decades we have sacrificed our homes, our safety, our loved ones, and our comfort in the face of persecution and genocide. Yet like Prophet Ibrahim, our submission to Allah and our determination for justice remains unshaken.
We are a people tested severely, exiled, displaced, and hunted , but never broken. Our sacrifices in the camps and inside Arakan are not in vain. Every tear, every prayer, and every act of patience brings us closer to the day of relief and victory.
Let this Eid strengthen our resolve. Let the spirit of Qurbani inspire us to remain united, steadfast, and committed to our rightful return to Arakan with dignity, freedom, and full rights.
RSO reaffirms its unwavering commitment to the Rohingya cause until every Rohingya child can celebrate Eid in the land of their ancestors.
May Allah accept our sacrifices, grant us strength, and hasten the day of justice and return.
Eid Mubarak!
