Some weddings are special because of the celebration. Some are special because of the people and the story behind them.

For me, this wedding was special for a completely different reason β€” I was photographing one of my best friends from childhood, **Karina Akter Tofa**, as she stepped into a beautiful new chapter of her life with **Tahmid Bhai**. πŸ₯Ήβ€οΈ

After being together for around a year, their relationship finally found its ΰ¦ͺূর্ণঀা on **5th December 2025**, with both families coming together and blessing them as they began their journey together.

Tofa was emotional throughout her Kabin and wedding ceremonies. Her sisters, family members, and especially her closest friends were there to cheer her up and celebrate every little moment with her. Ria Apu couldn't be there that day, but the love of the family was still felt in every corner. 🀍

Tahmid Bhai's friends also joined the celebration, making the whole day even more lively and memorable.

And for me, standing behind the camera and watching a childhood friend begin a new life was an emotion of its own. I wasn't just taking photographs β€” I was preserving a chapter of someone's life that I have known for years.

Today, on **16th August**, I am posting this album as a little birthday surprise for my dear friend Tofa.

Just two days after their Mehendi, it was finally time for their AKDH β€” the day that made their almost *07-year-long relationship* officially become a new chapter of their lives.

Ria Apu planned and organized almost everything herself. From the decorations to the smallest details, she poured her heart into this day. And when she finally saw everything come together while taking her portraits, she couldn't hold back her emotions. πŸ₯ΉπŸ€

Her best friends stayed by her side the whole time, cheering her up and making sure she enjoyed every moment.

With four sisters, two brothers, and a house full of loved ones, the entire day felt warm, joyful, and full of blessings.

When Fahad Bhaiya arrived with his family, the Akdh ceremony began with heartfelt prayers and beautiful emotions. And after the Nikah, the mood slowly turned into laughter β€” from the ring exchange and Malabodol to cake cutting, signing, and the little candid moments they shared together. ❀️

The family portraits from both sides became some of my favorite memories from this wedding.

For me, this day was even more personal. Ria Apu's little sister,Karina Akter Tofa, has been a good friend of mine since childhood. So while photographing their family, I never felt like an outsider with a camera.

I photographed them the way I would photograph my own family.

Now, two years later in 2026, these photographs still carry the same warmth, the same laughter, and the same emotions they held that day.

Some memories never fade.

They simply learn how to speak through photographs. 🀍

Inspired by the energy, passion, and unforgettable vibes of the FIFA World Cup 2026, the **East West University Intra Girls Football Tournament 2.0**, arranged by EWU BHAI BROTHERS, brought together the spirit of competition, friendship, teamwork, and pure love for football. 🌍πŸ”₯

From every powerful tackle to every breathtaking goal, every celebration to every emotional moment β€” this tournament was more than just a competition. It was a celebration of **women in football, university spirit, and the beautiful game itself.** ❀️⚽

πŸ† And the champions are β€” Blue Elites πŸ’™πŸ‘‘

With determination, teamwork, and an incredible fighting spirit, Blue Elites lifted the championship trophy and created their own memorable chapter in the tournament’s story. πŸ†βœ¨

A special thanks to my friend Tanvir Ahmed from the **CSE Department**, who invited me to capture these moments. Tanvir was also part of the Data Dominators Executive Panel, and I truly appreciate the opportunity to be there and document this incredible tournament. πŸ€πŸ“Έ

Just like the World Cup brings the football world together, this tournament created its own little football universe right here at EWU β€” filled with passion, dreams, rivalry, celebrations, and unforgettable memories. 🌎⚽

A small, intimate Mehendi ceremony at home, surrounded by close friends and family β€” that was how Tanzina Ria Apu’s Mehendi started back in 2024.

But the moment Fahad Bhaiya arrived with his family to surprise Ria Apu, the whole atmosphere changed. The happiness, laughter, emotions and excitement made the evening even more special. πŸ₯Ήβ€οΈ

After being together for almost β™₯07 years, this Mehendi was more than just a wedding ceremony. It was a beautiful reminder of a long journey that finally brought them to this chapter of their lives.

Today, Ria Apu is living in Scotland, while Fahad Bhaiya is working professionally as a lawyer in Bangladesh. Different places, different routines β€” but the love that brought them this far still remains.

Looking back at these photographs, you can still feel the warmth of that evening β€” the family, the friends, the laughter and the love that surrounded them.

We feel lucky to have been there to capture these moments as they happened, naturally and with love. Because sometimes, the simplest celebrations hold the most meaningful memories. 🀍
