al community. Countless passions in my life are travel and photography. Through my photography I seek to document my own personal experiences, to capture prospects and events as I see them and to share with others the beauty and diversity of the world I've seen. The Annandale Parade, founded in 1950 by the Annandale Chamber of Commerce, is an annual community event held on the fourth Saturday of October along Columbia Pike. It was created to promote community spirit and celebrate Annandale’s cultural diversity. Featuring marching bands, civic groups, businesses, and international dance troupes, the parade also serves as a festive pre-Halloween celebration, with participants and children wearing costumes and collecting candy.
