The Annandale Parade, founded in 1950 by the Annandale Chamber of Commerce, is an annual community event held on the fourth Saturday of October along Columbia Pike. It was created to promote community spirit and celebrate Annandale’s cultural diversity. Featuring marching bands, civic groups, businesses, and international dance troupes, the parade also serves as a festive pre-Halloween celebration, with participants and children wearing costumes and collecting candy.
