It reminded us that life’s most beautiful chapters are often the ones we didn’t script. When the unexpected happens, you don't fight it; you embrace it with all your heart.

When Raqueed and Tithi first sat down with us last year, we listened to their incredible story of survival, heavy miles, and the immense distance between Dhaka and Chicago. We knew this couldn't be told like a traditional wedding.

So, we challenged them: we told them to create a timeline of their long-distance relationship.

We wanted to see the quiet moments, the wait, and the spaces between them. From that timeline, we began to visualize their love, their resilience, and the deep bond they shared before they ever stepped foot on the wedding stage.

Raqueed took that to heart. In a groundbreaking move for the Bangladeshi wedding landscape, he turned the lens on his own solitary life in Chicago. Documenting his belongings, his packed bags, and the quiet spaces of an unknown city before returning home to marry Tithi.

At Adam Surat, it has been a beautiful privilege to witness and narrate this journey. It reminds us that we shouldn't just photograph the grand milestones; we need to honor the struggle and the vulnerability that build the love story.

Thank you, Raqueed and Tithi, for trusting our vision and letting us tell a story that is entirely, beautifully your own.
