Ashura is a solemn day of mourning for Shia Muslims commemorating the martyrom of Hussein, a grandson of the Prophet Mohammad in 680 AD at Karbala.

Shakrain festival also known as kite festival is an annual celebration in Dhaka, Bangladesh observed with the flying of kites. The festival occurs at the end of Poush, the ninth month of the Bengali calendar. I made this shot on 14th January,2019 at Old Dhaka in Dhaka, Bangladesh.

Title: Celebrating Festival
Shakrain festival also known as kite festival is an annual celebration in Dhaka, Bangladesh observed with the flying of kites. The festival occurs at the end of Poush, the ninth month of the Bengali calendar. Shakrain festival is one of the oldest annual festivals of Bangladesh. Shakrain is widely celebrated and southern Bangladesh city of Dhaka as part of the celebration, colourful kites are flown high from the rooftops around the area in the afternoon. It often takes the form of kite fighting in which participants try to snag each other's kites or cut other kites down. When night falls fireworks light up the sky of the old Dhaka. Flame-Eaters also gather on the roofs to entertain watching people with their skills of manipulating fire. I had taken this image on 14th January,2019 at Old Dhaka in Dhaka, Bangladesh.

Title: Hidden Characteristics

When we look forward to someone, we have always seen his/her outside characteristics. But every human has another hidden part which exist in inside. At a first glance, if we think about the hidden part or hidden faces of a human being, a sense of incompleteness touches us. This incompleteness helps to create a curiosity, a mystery to know more, look further into the lives of this hidden characteristics. I tried to make a hidden feel in this picture. I took this photo on 6th November, 2019 at Dhaka, Bangladesh.
