Animal Farm — George Orwell 🐷
I read this book at least two months ago and had so many thoughts to share with you guys. But with time, and after reading some other books, those thoughts have kind of faded. However, let’s try.
What if the animals around you started talking, using their brains for their own good, and stopped listening to you? Looks like fun, right?! At first glance, it seems that you would also support their team, because it is very obvious that animals deserve goodwill in their lives. They are not just servants to us; they have lives of their own.
Moving forward, what if they said that they were all equal? Yes, they were at first. They took responsibility into their own hands and built their own kingdom, where everyone was equal. But as time went by, it became clear that the clever ones created boundaries and made themselves superior.
And what about the inferior animals? They were forced to work even more than they did under the Manor Farm.
It wasn’t just about work. The brainwashing, the false hopes, the rules about food distribution—all of these show how the clever ones have ruled over us from the beginning of the world until now.
I really felt this book with all my heart and brain because, after all these years, we are still stuck in this political mess. We are the inferior ones who don’t even know what is happening around us, who don’t know where our freedom is or how to take it back.
A timeless book it is. 💙
