I was watching a book review of ইন্দুবালা ভাতের হোটেল by Sadman Sadik
In this review I get to learn that rejection does not always mean that you have a fault in you. It doesn't necessarily have to mean that you are valueless or you are not good enough. Sometimes getting rejected can mean that the other person had a different preference, a different taste or they are interested in something else. That doesn't really mean they rejected you because they hate you.
Let me give you an example, suppose you like coffee. You may say I like coffee but it doesn't mean that you hate tea. You just prefer coffee over tea because you have a different taste or that's just what you really want.
But when it comes to talking about a person we often think we get rejected because we have some lackings or we are undeserving of love. But we don't want to see that the other person may have different preferences.
Or maybe when we get rejected from jobs or interviews we get depressed over feeling worthless. But it can mean that they might want skills that we don't possess.
