অধিবাস...
হিন্দু বিয়ের একটি গুরুত্বপূর্ন রীতি। ছোটবেলা থেকে এই দৃশ্যটা বহুবার দেখে এসেছি বিভিন্ন আত্মীয়ের বিয়েতেই। এই সময়ে যেন অন্যরকম এক নিস্তব্ধতা থাকে পুরো বাড়িতে। সবাই কাঁদছে, চাপা এক কষ্ট নিয়ে। যার দিকেই তাকাবেন সবার চোখেই জল। অদ্ভুত এক সুর থাকে গানের মধ্যে, যেন মনের কষ্টের প্রকাশ হচ্ছে গানে। গানের কথাগুলোও ভারি অদ্ভুত। যাকে আমাদের স্থানীয় ভাষায় "গীত" বলে সম্বোধন করা হয়। কালকেই মেয়েকে বিদায় দিতে হবে। বাবার বাড়ি ছেড়ে চলে যাবে ঘরের লক্ষী। বাড়ির সকল বয়োজ্যেষ্টরা মিলে মেয়েকে আশীর্বাদ করেন প্রাণ খোলে। আশীর্বাদ করেন নতুন জীবনের জন্য।
