▪REPORTAGE: Mad Festival 2024
[ENGLISH BELOW]▪

Pokaz pod tytułem "La spire". Na zdjęciach dziewczyny wiszące i balansujące na metalowych konstrukcjach cyrkowych. Opowiedziały one w ten sposób przejmującą historię o człowieczeństwie, kobiecości, związkach międzyludzkich, sprawności fizycznej i wrażliwości.

To naprawdę niesamowite, co potrafi ludzkie ciało.

A show called "La spire". You can see girls hanging and balancing on metal circus structures. They used it to tell a moving story about humanity, femininity, interpersonal relationships, physical fitness and sensitivity. It's truly amazing what the human body can do.

▪KATTENSTOET PARADE▪

Na początku maja miałam przyjemność robić zdjęcia na niezwykle barwnej paradzie w belgijskim mieście Ieper/Ypres. Jej motywem przewodnim jest przedstawienie kotów w różnych formach, kolorach i kształtach.

Niektórych pewnie zdziwi, a niektórych zszokuje fakt, że w średniowiecznym Ieper koty kojarzone były z czarami i złymi mocami, dlatego... zrzucano je z wież kościelnych i ratuszowych. Te mordercze akty były sposobem mieszkańców na wypędzenie złych duchów z miasta. Całe szczęście ta praktyka dobiegła końca, a dziś parada Kattenstoet to prawdziwe święto dla miłośników kotów, jak również ważny element tożsamości kulturowej Ieper.

📌 Coratia, Eden Urbankiz Festival 2023, Sunday Party gallery. An event full of memories like every festival I did as a photographer.

It has been more than just a hobby or work for me. It's been a 3,5 years journey of self-discovery, growth and inspiration. Beyond the beautiful moments and images, what I've truly cherished is shared appreciation for the art of dance photography.

Time changes, things change and I change as well. It's time to push the boundaries of my creativity, explore new perspectives and broaden my mind.

Light Festival 2024, Gent, Belgium

What I really like in photo walks like this, is that it gives me great occassions to focus on details and to practise mindfullness. Also, I love exploring, trying to catch different perspectives, experimenting with composition. It's a good social activity and I recommend it to everyone, not only photographers :)

'Costumes in Brugges' is an annual Venetian costumes parade walking through the streets of Brugge (Belgium).
