Energetic renovation of a 1960s bungalow. At the centre of the space, a sculptural open spiral staircase leads to the added extra volume on the flat roof.
The house received an entirely new roof structure, with the new timber beams, lacquered steel girders, and columns intentionally left visible. They form a clear and honest expression of the building’s structural system within the interior.
