Day 2 of shooting for BNC / Belgian National Championship at Worldkarts Kortrijk and the semi finals are starting soon. Not before we have the final of the Cadets.

With close racing already for 2 days. A lot is still possible, the trophee isn't handed out until the finishflag drops of the final race. But the level of racing this year is incredible with a lot of international talent.

All of this is not possible without a great crew on and off track. With an incredible live stream by the guys from FATV. And ofcourse the race directors and marshalls from Worldkarts.

Arrived at Worldkarts Kortrijk today for BNC! 📸🏁
New camera means time to test some new settings before the real action kicks off tomorrow. Here are some first shots from a training heat while getting everything dialed in.

In exact one week I'm traveling again to WorldKarts Kortrijk for BNC 2026.
Without a doubt the race weekend I'm looking forward to all year!

And it's at moments like these I'm scrolling back through the pictures of last year. I always want to capture the raw emotion as much as possible. And last year I think I did a pretty good job.

Looking at the entry list, it will be a challenging weekend. With a brand new track at WorldKarts, it will be a fight till the end for the crown of champion BNC 2026. Who will follow Rico in the hall of BNC Champions? Or will he go for a back 2 back championship win?

Looking forward to seeing a lot of you again next weekend! As always you can expect same day action packed pictures for free! Also keep an eye out for my socials next weekend, might have something special popping up.

2025 was een jaar vol snelheid, adrenaline en onvergetelijke momenten op en naast het circuit. Van close racing tot pure emoties aan de finish — bedankt aan alle piloten, teams en organisatoren die me het vertrouwen gaven om jullie kartingraces vast te leggen.

With more then 10 years shooting pictures. There aren't a lot of tracks in Belgium I've never visited. But last Wednesday got the invite to shoot at JPR Belgium Indoorkarting . One of the few I've never been to.
With recent new owners, and a lot of passions to bring back the former glory of JPR. I was excited to see their new track and their race fleet.

With their pro race every 2nd Wednesday of the month. It was the ideal moment to shoot some pictures. Indoor is always more difficult, especially during the evening without natural light. But still was able to manage getting some nice pics.

a place to call home. Shooting here already for more then 10 years. And often it’s hard to not shoot the same pov over and over again.
With last weekend I challenged myself to be creative again from the same positions I always shoot.

And daimn these came out so much better! Thanks to .photo to keep on challenging me to become better every time.

This was BNC / Belgian National Championship 2025.

7222 pictures shot over the 2 days, and 5296 delivered. This is the event I'm looking forward to all year to shoot.

In 2024 the competition was already on a high level. But in 2025 going into the first races, I didn't want to put money on who would make it to the semi's or even finals.
Driving in 2 directions added an extra flavour to the challenge. And the great work the Worldkart crew did on providing an equal kart fleet was amazing. Making the hotlaps even more difficult.
Don't ask me how many steps I did, cause I have no clue. But the heat on Saturday was hell. Thank god it was a bit chiller on Sunday.

It was amazing again, and that's thanks to all of you. The Worldkarts crew, the BNC crew, all drivers and family/friends. This is what made BNC 2025 a great event on and off track!

Congrats to Rico Haarbosch for the win! It was insane to see you drive all weekend long. With a great performance. I need to admit I had to push a tear when you brought home that victory in the final.
