Jean-Paul Bourelly on guitar, Will Calhoun on drums, Jamaaladeen Tacuma on bass – moving in full flow, building a sound of movement, tension and groove.

Hearing later from Jean-Paul that these images carried both the energy of the night and a certain sensitivity in how the musicians are portrayed… that meant everything to me 🫶🏽

As someone who’s moved across countries, cultures, and creative fields, I’ve seen firsthand how art can create space where we feel seen and connected. So much of my work at Dinya Magazine stems from the belief that creativity can be a home for those who don’t always feel they have one.

That’s why I’m especially excited to be part of this years Athens Music Week 2025, where I’ll be joining two inspiring panels:

✨ Redesigning belonging: How creativity opens space for inclusion and participation
I’ll be moderating this roundtable with a fantastic group of artists and cultural leaders, diving into how creative thinking can drive inclusion, resilience, and community - far beyond the boundaries of traditional art spaces.

✨ Found or forgotten? How artists can be discovered
In this session, I’ll speak alongside fellow creatives about visibility, identity, and what it means to be “discovered” in today’s ever-changing creative landscape.

These conversations feel personal - and necessary. If you’re exploring similar questions around belonging, visibility, and creative expression, let’s connect in Athens or keep the conversation going online.
