La Muralla Roja exploration with The Leica SL2S+Minolta 50mm + Leica QP

I took my sweet time to get in my own flow before taking photos because I wanted to align myself with the energy that I was feeling from being there. Eventually, after a couple of warm-up shots, I felt very comfortable roaming around LA Muralla Roja. The hit show on Netflix Squid Games implemented their own version of this architecture in their show. The building itself is one of the most unique buildings in Spain. If you love urban architecture then this is a must-visit location. I hope you enjoy the video and photos cheers.

It’s been a while 😅.

I decided to capture everything with the Leica SL2-S attached with a Minolta Vintage Lens. I also brought my everyday carry the Leica Q. I found using 28mm and 50mm for this trip really allowed me to have a compact package for this trip. I would love to hear your thoughts on our adventure.

Thank you all for the well wishes, I am extremely grateful to have you all as peers, friends, and family. 34 years on this earth and I will continue being the way I am. Staying consistent in anything doesn't mean 100%. It's vital to remember that failures are still a part of the equation. In recent years I have put this pressure on myself to nail every shot no matter the circumstances. This way of thinking pushed me away from the art and instead, I would dig myself in a hole. For me, I find that consistency is more important than perfection in the sense that you still consider failures as part of making progress in something and having plans to deal with them.

I had a great time traveling through Andalusia (Sevilla, Ronda, Granada, Zahara de La fronteras, Arcos, sentinel) eventually ending in Madrid. I traveled with my wife and we had a great time out there.

I had a great time exploring "Squid Games Building" LA Muralla Roja in Calpe Spain. I did some urban exploration and got lost in this amazing building.

I used the Leica QP + Leica SL2S + Minolta MD 50mm f1.7
