Eid Breakfast & Launch of “Bahrain United” Initiative
Covering the annual Eid Breakfast hosted by Mrs. Betsy B. Mathieson, Chairperson of This is Bahrain on May 30, 2026, at the Golden Tulip Hotel, Manama, Kingdom of Bahrain.
During the gathering, This is Bahrain officially launched the “Bahrain United” initiative, aimed at strengthening social cohesion and reinforcing the values of national belonging, unity, and community solidarity among citizens and residents.
The initiative comes at a time when the region faces rapid challenges and changes, emphasizing the importance of upholding the values that define Bahraini society: faith, courage, loyalty, gratitude, and unity. It also coincides with the Year of Sheikh Isa bin Ali Al Khalifa (Isa Al Kabeer), recognized as the architect of modern Bahrain, whose vision established the foundations of a nation built on openness, justice, mutual respect, and peaceful coexistence.
The initiative reflects Bahrain’s enduring commitment to unity and harmony under the leadership of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa and the continued efforts of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince and Prime Minister, in advancing the Kingdom’s development and stability.
On the sidelines of the launch, This is Bahrain also announced a collaboration with renowned artists Ahmed Al Jumairi and Abdulaziz Al Yahya to produce a special patriotic song dedicated to His Majesty the King, marking the official launch of the **“Bahrain United”** initiative.
A distinguished gathering of diplomats, officials, community leaders, media representatives, and invited guests united in celebrating the values that continue to make Bahrain a model of coexistence, tolerance, and national unity.
Grateful to capture and share these memorable moments.
