Hey there! I’m Mikayla — a small-town photographer based just 15 minutes outside of Athabasca, Alberta. Life out here is busy and beautiful: when I’m not behind the camera, you’ll find me in the classroom teaching, out on our farm getting my hands dirty, wrangling our pup, or spending time with my amazing husband.

Photography has always been my heart’s outlet. It lets me tell stories, preserve memories, and capture feelings that words alone can’t express. Out here on the farm, surrounded by wide-open skies and changing seasons, I’ve learned to appreciate the small moments — and that’s exactly what I love to bring into my work behind the lens.

I’m passionate about creating a relaxed, fun experience where you can be yourself, feel comfortable, and end up with photos that truly feel like you. I can’t wait to meet you, hear your story, and capture your essence through my lens! 🤎📸
