I need a good socks. Taking photos in a chilly cold weather with a bad socks is a No NO!!!
We started scrambling when we saw that alpenglow and didn't realized the good light behind us.

C H I L L

I totally lost my appetite for photography. It's not as before where I can easily find time to pop up my camera outside my bag.

This time my fellow samahan invited me for a shoot near Pitt Lake.

Went there for a good walk and a great chat with friends who I haven't seen in ages.

Good times chilling with nature again.

GReeN To Me - HuM

"A morning image from the satellite is all blue and green"

Listening to Hum while editing this photo.

My last chance to shoot Moraine Lake before I go home and it's cloudless. I came late and saw that glow.

No time for scouting so I headed straight to that rocky area for a good spot. Instead of going to the trail I did the rock climb to shave off critical minutes.

A good 30 minutes in the area and went back to Canmore to grab my family and went back home on a 16 hour drive.

CoNNeCTioN LoST

I am quite surprised that I have the whole lake by myself during sunrise. Roughly 10 minutes drive from the town and no one in sight.

Probably they went to Pyramid Lake which is a few kilometers away. Well I don't blame them since I left after I took this shot.

Patricia and I didn't have the connection. Felt so empty and strange. I am going to leave you for Pyramid!

TaNGLe FaLLs

Rain and thunderstorm were the constant thing while we're in Jasper.

It is quite a bad week for a vacation with my family but the photographer in me is quite ecstatic.

Going to this location is quite tricky. We managed to walk across the highway and encounter various species (tourist).

It is quite a long walk... Just beside the road :)

InStanT KaRma

Stayed in Canmore with my family for 3 nights after a gruelling drive from Edmonton.

Woke up early and went to Bow River. Waited for almost an hour for that glow. A bit scared as I am alone in that area for awhile.

Instant Karma!

D Y a R i S M

My initial plan is to take photos in Vermillion Lake. After 30 minutes of searching for a right composition I decided to go to 2 Jacks Lake.

Googled it and it's only 10 minutes drive away from my current spot.

RUSHED myself as I saw the glow hitting Mt. Rundle and was a bit late when I arrived. The spot that I am intending to go was full of photographers and so I roam around to see what I can do.

Saw these flowers away from the lake and decided to make it as my foreground.

Named this photo Dyarism as a shout out to one of my favourite photographer Ryan Dyar who inspired me to do this kind of shot.

Sunrise Sunrise

I was at Patricia Lake earlier and I just don't like the area so I rushed out to Pyramid Lake when I saw that the clouds were starting to show its colors.

I ran down to the area where I scouted the day before.

Chasing the alpenglow I ran as fast as I can.

I didn't realized how loud my bear bells (2pcs) that a fellow photographer was a little bit on the panic side.

He thought theres a bear in the area. HAHA

L a d y L u c k

I decided to go to Athabasca Falls and tried my luck there. It was raining hard in Jasper and I don't want to waste my time sulking over bad weather during my first stay.

I just missed the sunset due to my previous post.

1ST!

This is my first photo in Jasper. There's a thunderstorm that night.

I'm supposed to go to Pyramid Lake but it's raining hard.

Gambled my way to Athabasca...

My 1st photo and the light is EPIC!

Finally had the chance to edit my left over photos from our mini photo safari with the fellow samahan.

Also my monitor came back to life and I just saved ton of cash from not buying an iMac :)
