We drove up to the volcano at 3am, not knowing if the volcano would go off or not…

By noon, double lava fountains grew taller than the Empire State Building, reaching 1,575 feet. Absolutely insane.

I’d been dreaming of photographing an erupting volcano for a long time. Safe to say this was far beyond my expectation.

By 1pm, the park and highway was closed. It was an insane amount of debris so everyone had to evacuate the park.

So special getting to see the power of Mother Nature up close and sharing the moment with my dad and stepmom.

Found paradise in the French Alps 🚞

More times than not, I’ve noticed if you keep hiking a little past a popular tourist destination, you’ll find a little slice of paradise just for you.

That’s what we did on this day. And when we got to the hidden lake, the sun decided to come out and create the perfect shooting conditions.

This is why I do what I do!

Adventure photography is all about getting out of your comfort zone, chasing the perfect shot, and showing others what the world has to offer.

It was a joy traveling through the Hawaiian Islands documenting these wild landscapes with Gaby Shubat. Thank you UnCruise Adventures for making this trip possible.

Frames from the Laugavegur Trail that blew my mind 🏔️

This was the best thru-hike I’ve ever done. The trail takes you through a variety of famous Icelandic landscapes. From colourful mountains and black sand deserts to glaciers and bubbling hot springs.. this place is otherworldly.

Length: Approximately 55 kilometers (34 miles)
Duration: Typically 3–4 days
Starting point: Landmannalaugar
Ending point: Þórsmörk

Dylan & Madison wanted their wedding to be their favourite adventure yet...

So, they took their vows to their happy place - the mountains.

They hiked through the clouds, dressed in a suit and gown, until they reached the iconic mountainscape just in time for sunset.

As golden light filled the valley, they shared their vows, FaceTimed their family, and savoured quiet moments together as newlyweds.

They wanted the experience to be intimate, so I was their hiking guide and fly-on-the-wall photographer, capturing every bit of the magic along the way.

All of these landscapes were captured from the car, while driving along the Ring Road in Iceland.

When I’m in the passenger seat, the car is usually a place where I will edit photos or catch up on sleep. This is impossible in Iceland.. the sights from the road make driving an experience in itself.

We went with to get us from one adventure to the next, and we were stoked with the capabilities of the 2021 Nissan Qashqai.

also sets you up with coffee, so there was no way I was sleeping through the views.
