Well folks, it's been awhile since I've posted. Honestly, I haven't explored much in the past 2 years. So here's some photos of an abandoned train I explored in 2018 🤦🏻‍♀️

On my last day in New Brunswick, I couldn't decide which route I wanted to take back home or falls I wanted to see. These were on my list but after viewing others photos I initially decided they were okay to pass up. However, since it was on my chosen route, I made a last minute decision to check them out. Boy, am I happy I did. The falls aren't that impressive to me. What is impressive is the rock formation. It is just stunning!

Tetagouche Falls was one of the last waterfalls I checked out on my journey around the province of New Brunswick.
This particular waterfall located in the Tetagouche River has a rich history involving the Mi'kmaq, who first named the falls "Tootoogoose". This roughly translates to "squirrel cliff or jump" referring to the flying squirrels that jumped over the cliff. In the 1840s the falls were also home to underground mining. Mining continued until roughly 1864. In the early 1900s a hydro-electric plant was constructed at the bridge.

It was pouring rain when I arrived which meant I had the place to myself. I hiked down a very steep and slippery cliff. I then hiked up my pants legs, walked through the cold, water while slipping on rocks, and took some photos. It was definitely a breathtaking view.

Yesterday's adventure in Pont-Rouge, QC. I recently discovered this place having just moved in the area. It is absolutely beautiful! The rock formation is incredible. This particular waterfall is a runoff from the hydro dam further up.

Well, it's been over 2 months since I last posted. For those of you who do not follow me on Instagram, I announced that I had a baby girl (our first) and therefore would not be posting as often. My urban exploring has been put onto pause for the time being so any photos I do post will be locations I explored in the past.
Now that my daughter is getting older, and is more attentive, I decided to take her out today on her very first outdoor adventure (I've taken her out before but she slept the whole time haha).
We explored just a small section of Marais Leon-Provancher in Neuville, QC. The weather was just perfect!

A bunch of junk in an abandoned junkyard deep in the woods. We barely survived 10 minutes in the forest due to the amount of bugs gnawing away at us!
