Based in Bayfield, ON; I love to photograph Lake Huron during all seasons. I am also drawn to landscape, wildlife, event and portrait photography.

The purpose of this page is to frequently share my photography through the images that I enjoy creating. I love the art of photography. Often, I will stare at photos and analyze why they captivate my attention so well. Over the last few years, I have dedicated myself to learning more and more about this fine craft, in a quest to create such images myself. Thank-you for stopping in on my photograph

Monday afternoon there was a break in the major snow event Bayfield was having. The sun was shining with blue skies. I went down to the Lake and quickly realized that our sunny reprieve would not last for long. Round 2 was approaching!

This September was my first ever visit to Killbear Provincial Park. Photographing the Park's iconic Windswept Pine was certainly on my "to do list" while there. The tree is now receiving support from braces installed in May of 2022. I appreciated its beauty at all times of the day and imagined it when it stood stronger years ago. This photograph was taken during sunrise when I was alone with the tree soaking up the early morning rays together.

I went to the lake to see if I could capture the full moon setting. The moon remained high in the sky. I ended up photographing the mist over Lake Huron on this crisp fall morning instead. I do not venture down to the Lake too often in the morning, this scene was an unexpected delight to take in.

I had to get out and photograph the C/2023 A3 (Tsuchinshan–ATLAS) Comet. Here it is over Lake Huron, viewed from Pioneer Park, Bayfield on October 16th.

I ventured down to the lake Sunday evening to see what I could photograph. It was a slippery, windy, cold adventure! I was hoping for a sunset, which didn't happen. However, for me, it was worth the frozen fingertips to capture these branches encased in ice with the waves rolling in. Winter has certainly arrived this week.

Happy Monday!!! How can you not smile seeing this cute face running towards you? Meet Finn, a 12 week old, long haired Mini Dachshund puppy who I had the pleasure of photographing last week.

With the windy, grey, skies this afternoon; I felt like sharing a few more lovely rays of Sunshine from Wednesday night's beautiful sunset. I sure enjoyed taking it all in with my camera that evening.

It was so nice to take in the sunset at Bayfield's Pioneer Park last night. The staircase down to the beach lit up beautifully.

I brought my camera gear on a recent trip to Niagara Falls for a music concert (Sarah McLachlan, who was amazing). It was tough but I popped up at 5:30 am to walk down to the Falls and capture some images. It is a wonderful experience to be one of the only people there at sunrise. The lighting changes quickly and it is very peaceful.
