My Uncle Dave Norwood and his wife Lynda went up in a vintage plane last month at Windsor Airport. It was a gift from my sister and I, and also a bit of family nostalgia because my late grandfather, Bob Norwood was a Canadian Air Force pilot. The Harvard AT-6 was one of the planes he flew and trained other pilots to fly during WWII. Here’s part 1 of 2 of our family trip down memory lane.
Thank you to pilot, Poul Hansen, and the Canadian Aviation Museum. To learn more about the aircraft, visit https://canadianaviationmuseum.ca/museum/harvard
