Nico's Concrete I have been a Concrete Finisher and in the Concrete Industry for 33 years I have been a concrete finisher for 33 years. I specialize in decorative concrete.

Some but not all of my services include patios, steps, curbs, driveways, porches, etc. some of the finishes are broom finished, stamped, exposed aggregate or a combination. I also do functional concrete such as garage/shop floors, basements, concrete repair, foundation leak repair and waterproofing. I am available for free estimates. CONCRETE SEALING

Spring is the perfect time to seal your decorative concrete to bring back the original look and protect it from the elements. Sealing for broomfinished concrete is also available to help protect it from the weather, the freeze thaw cycle, and a barrier toward salt damage.

FOUNDATION LEAK REPAIR from the outside to prevent further deterioration of your walls. I dig past the footing, grind out all cracks, repair all cracks with injection and hydraulic cement, install a waterproof membrane, redo the drainage system along the footing and back fill, this comes with a lifetime warranty. I also repair cracks along the windows and floor cracks. I am also available for indoor concrete work such as garage/shop/barn floors, basements, etc. And am currently doing free estimates for concrete work this coming spring and summer

SEALING CONCRETE

My wife is again going to be offering concrete sealing to protect your concrete. You clean the concrete and she does the rest, this allows her to keep her prices lower for affordability. She rolls the sealer on instead of spraying, which is time consuming, but gives a nice even finish so there is no uneven distribution of the sealer, no bare spots or thinly covered spots and no wand lines. She adds in a non-slip additive to help with the slippery texture of stamped concrete. Exposed concrete and broomfinished concrete is also able to be sealed to protect against the elements and offer some protection from the salt the county/city puts down in the winter. Beautiful step down patio, hot tub pad. This project had many tiers and steps and landings and it turned out fantastic. Brought my boy in for the day who learned to finish with me when he was a teenager, this job turned out wonderful.

This was a tricky stone foundation, there were big holes in the foundation all the way around the house . We dug by hand, reinforced and cemented holes around pipes, rebuilt the walls on the outside with hydraulic cement and another cement product that smoothed all of the jagged edges and gave the wall strength to keep rocks in place. We redid the drainage system so that the water flowed away from the home and blueskinned the outside wall. There was a wall where we were unable to dig and concrete sloping and breaking off on the edges in the basement so we created an Omni basement with a sump pump and broke and poured concrete in areas where the homeowner had shown us it sunk. All in all the basement that used to flood is now dry.

This was a project that the homeowner had been told was not doable. They had several contractors come out and they either wouldn't price it or just told them it wasnt something that could be done. We put a wire cage over the existing concrete walls, formed new walls and braced the forms off of each other so they could hold. Their existing drainage system was plugged and broken so we dug out the bottom of their driveway and put in 2 large French drains, put in steel grates and did a concrete skirt at the bottom of the driveway for way better drainage. Then we tied steps and a porch into the new wall and poured it all together. It turned out beautiful.

Some pictures of one of the walkouts we have done. First we excavated the area that was needed to create the walkout, the area we needed to put the door and stairs etc., we formed and poured the walls that contain the walkout area, we cut out the cinder blocks and Installed the door, we installed the drainage necessary to take the water away from the door and disperse it elsewhere, we formed and poured the landings and the steps and then poured them.

Nico's Concrete is looking for a general laborer. The person needed should be:
-physically fit
-honest
-RELIABLE
-able to work Monday to Thursday
Duties will include helping with a job from beginning to end such as digging, shoveling gravel, running a wheelbarrow, cleaning tools etc. Experience in concrete is not needed, however construction industry experience would be a major asset. If you are a fast learner and ready to work we will train you. Own vehicle and ability to drive to job sites is also a major asset.
