When I first began shooting, it was in weddings. I've since moved on to portrait sessions, so this was kind of coming full circle for me. It was a gorgeous venue, Waterstone Estate, and an amazing couple. Really, they are both so lucky to have found each other. I was honored to be their photographer for the night.

This was my first pumpkin patch shoot, and I adore how the orange colors popped against the blue sky! (Somehow we lucked out that the one blue sky day of October was the day of this shoot!)

Of course, having an adorable little family to shoot made things easy too. And, a big shout out to Murphy's Farm for such a stunning location!

This winter was rather harsh . . . and long with that random snow storm in mid-April! It sent us searching for spring in a greenhouse! Thankfully, the lovely people at Alton Greenhouse let us in. (They have AMAZING plants and take such great pride in everything that they do. I know where I am going to purchase my spring plants!!)

And isn't this mom and her kids adorable? (I think the four-legged kid steals the attention though!)
