I’m a sucker for a first look and private vows! If you’re debating on doing a first look and private vows on your wedding day here are some reasons why I would add it into your schedule:
*A quiet moment together before the day unfolds - Your wedding day goes by incredibly fast. A first look gives you a calm, intimate moment together before the whirlwind begins. It can help ground you both and remind you what the day is really about
*Less nerves walking down the aisle - Seeing each other beforehand often helps ease nerves. Many couples say they feel much more relaxed during the ceremony because they’ve already had that emotional first moment together
*Space for more personal vows - Private vows allow you to speak freely without the pressure of a crowd. Couples sometimes feel more comfortable sharing deeply personal thoughts without dozens (or hundreds) of guests listening
*More time together on your wedding day - Without a first look, couples often spend most of the day apart. Doing one earlier means you get to spend more of your wedding day side-by-side
