I started out photography wanting to be an adventure photographer. That meant I wanted to follow people around and take candid photos of them exploring in nature. Thankfully, it’s my reality now! Between a wonderful ongoing partnership with and now through my work in marketing at , I’m living that dream.

But that dream is also evolving and changing… in the past couple years, I’ve begun to capture families and couples, and have even some some unreal creative shoots. I’m obsessed! I think portrait photography is where I want to take my business, now that adventure photography has been covered via my “9-5.”

It also makes my bio pretty complicated—I’m your photographer for… um… almost anything 🤪

This weekend I’m at with ! We’re spending the day outdoors in the magical mountains, with a sleigh ride, s’mores, Santa + carol-singing, and more.

The sleigh rides are discounted just for us and I’m offering my mini sessions at a significantly discounted rate!

There’s also an indoor space to warm up in, so we can do either “winter adventure” style photos in your winter gear, or take the jackets off and dress up for a more classy shoot in the mountains 😍

$80+ gst gets you:
• A 10 min outdoor session with the stunning backdrop of Mount Kidd
• 5+ fully edited images, delivered in time for Christmas
• Access to the event photography gallery (sleigh ride, s’mores + fire, Santa and carols, etc)

🏔Outdoors or studio?

I ran a poll earlier this week about Christmas minis and I was actually surprised by the results… every single person voted for an outdoor shoot for minis!

By all means, I’m 100% down for this, but I wanted to put a studio option since winter can be miserable in Alberta.

So stay tuned my friends! Christmas minis are coming soon, and they’ll likely be outdoors in Edmonton, Calgary, and the mountains. You bring your beautiful family and I’ll provide the hot chocolate and hand warmers ☺️
