Once crucial in prevention and fighting forest fires, they are all but forgotten and replaced now by modern technology.

Whether or not that's an improvement is a matter of opinion.

We are glad that some of these monuments are being preserved and can serve as a destination for people with an adventurous streak, like us.

It's hard to believe but last fall we did our first ever long trip with out 4x4 Ram1500 Camper.

A 16 day trip exploring throughout British Columbia with the end goal the West Coast of Northern Vancouver Island.
