A Little Elephant Drama ❤️
A beautiful evening with a large herd of elephants, including a couple of tiny babies, playfully moving across the plains. Everything seemed peaceful until one elephant suddenly got a little pushy with another! A brief moment of drama, and soon the whole herd disappeared into the bushes. 😊

Chasing the Last Light
It was the last evening of the year, 31st December, when we spotted a cheetah waking from its afternoon rest on a mound. We decided to spend the rest of our safari with this beauty, watching the changing play of light from 3:30 PM until 6:40 PM. As the golden evening light slowly faded, the cheetah continued watching its surroundings before finally walking towards the setting sun. A beautiful way to end the year in the Mara. ❤️

A beautiful cloudy evening in the Mara, with three lionesses and six tiny cubs enjoying a playful, relaxed time on the lush green plains. The wind was sweeping through the grass, dark clouds were gathering, and the rain was just moments away. A few beautiful moments of family life in the wild, just before the skies opened up. 😊

The Art of Patience
A fascinating morning with Luluka, the beautiful leopard queen of the Mara. From her behaviour, we could tell she was looking for a hunting opportunity. She stood silently among the tall grass, scanning her surroundings before slowly moving across the plains and disappearing into the shadows of a dry streambank. There she waited, watching a herd of gazelles in the distance. After hours of patience, as they moved closer, she made her move and secured a meal for herself and her little one. I converted a few of these seven images into black and white to bring out the intensity of their eyes. Seven frames from a morning of patience, precision, and survival. ❤️ Which frame is your favourite?

Will She Say Yes? ❤️
From 3 PM until almost 7 PM, we watched this giraffe trying his best to impress his lady on the plains of the Mara. He was persistent and romantic, while she seemed determined to keep him waiting! 😊 Four hours of courtship, and we still don't know what happened after sunset. Perhaps some love stories are meant to remain a mystery. ❤️
