Thankful for organizations like Skipping Stone for existing. The amount of help they’ve done for the trans community and 2SLGTBQ+ is immeasurable.

We love hearing the unique and different ways you choose to support us, and are especially touched when someone uses their talents to make a difference.

The Art Sherpa was one of the YouTube instructors I followed along with and learned so much from. She passed away this week 😢

She was so bright, vibrant and had a really good way of teaching. She wasn’t afraid to use colour, which is what drew me to her in the first place.

She inspired so many.

I thought her face was too dark so did some “fixing”. Wish I left it alone but happy I fixed her eyes and mouth.

I finally gave my brother the paint by numbers I got of the nibblings. They aren’t perfect and I had to fix Scarlett’s mouth from what the PBN had but I think it turned out pretty good.

Andrea Nelson Art did a few tutorials on this style/method of art and I couldn’t get it out of my head.

A great way to embellish a pour, alcohol ink or watercolour. Very good way to get yourself out of your head

Now that I have found virtually unscented resin, I’ll be focusing on getting projects done that have been sitting for years.

I’m quite happy with this little 4x4” enhanced acrylic pour. About the only thing I’d add is a layer of resin. It pops colours so well.

Sometimes I make coasters but these are not those.

Items in this album are not finished in a way that’ll protect the art, prevent hot/damp/wet objects from sticking to the piece and are generally created on substrate I’d consider too thin for a coaster.
