Chilliwack Channeling Youth Voices

Chilliwack Channeling Youth Voices CYV is a youth-led team, exploring issues faced by youth in Chilliwack, committed to amplifying the experiences and reflections of the next generation.

COMMUNITY GUIDELINES
The purpose of this page is to raise awareness of what is going on within our project, and to be a safe place for youth to express themselves and their experiences.

1. Be Kind
This is the most important rule of all! We are all here to build community and have positive interactions, if you can not be respectful of others you will be asked to leave.

2. No Hate Spe

ech or Bullying
As this is intended to be a safe place, please keep it this way. Bullying and/or hate speech will not be tolerated

3. Vegas Rule
What is said in this group should stay in this group. Please keep others private matters confidential and do not share anything you do not have explicit permission to share.

4. Trigger Warnings
Please provide TW for any sensitive subject matter, it gives readers time to process and prepare for potential triggering subjects.

5. Assume Best Intent
This is a learning space, everyone makes mistakes, please refer to Rule #1 and be kind when educating others.

6. Step Up and Step Back
This is a place for you to voice your opinions and concerns, however, please create space for others voices as well.

7. Solution
Be a part of the solution, not a part of the problem. If you are unsure of something, ask questions. If you do not understand something, ask questions. Contribute to a better, more engaging and understanding community.

8. No Spam
This is not for spam, any spam content will be removed. No selling/distributing of products please.

9. Complaints
If you have any questions or concerns please feel free to message any of the admin members and they will be more than happy to assist you!!

10. Post Approval
Posts will be approved by admin before publicized to ensure these guidelines are being followed.

11. Have Fun! This is a safe place for community engagement, we hope that everyone feels safe to voice their opinions, share their thoughts and create a supportive environment!!
