I've photographed extended family sessions where I knew, walking in, that there was an urgency to it.

Adult children who had received news about an aging parent. Families who understood, with a clarity most of us don't have yet, that they needed to document their people while everyone was still present and able to participate.

I've also photographed many families who didn't always get that kind of advance notice.

In both cases, these sessions are some of the most meaningful work I do. And they've shaped the way I approach every session since.

You don't need a diagnosis to make this worth doing. You just need to be willing to say: this moment, right now, is worth preserving.

My Easter Bunny Newborn Mini Sessions are back for another season! 🐰

These sessions are a bite-sized and budget-friendly version of my full newborn sessions. Ideal for babies born around the Easter holidays.

Running from the end of March until the end of April.
This session is a quick and simple one!

Baby is wrapped and/or dressed in one of my studio-provided matching wraps or rompers, and photographed safely on a gorgeous and plush flokati fur.

Baby will be photographed with the bunny bonnet AND without to ensure you have variety in your gallery.

All wraps and accessories provided by the studio.

5 high-resolution digital portraits of your choice (with the option to purchase more, if you wish).

Babies don't follow calendars, but you still should. Which is why I recommend getting your newborn session locked in early!

Why book early? It gives us time to plan your session and takes the pressure off once your little one arrives (believe me, you'll have enough to do by then).

So what do I mean by "early"? Typically, your second trimester is a sweet spot. It ensures you have a tentative place in my calendar.

Even if baby arrives before or after their due date, you still have time reserved with me and we can shift your session as needed once you've given birth.

I only commit to a small amount of newborn sessions each month to ensure I have enough wiggle room to accommodate the inevitable scheduling changes that come with babies.

But wait... are you reading this right now with a fresh little one in your arms and FOMO in your heart? Let me allay your worries!

I often hear, "Is it too late for a newborn shoot?" The answer is usually no! While the first weeks can be ideal for those curled-up photos, we can still achieve gorgeous images of your little one even after this "ideal" window of time.

Kicking off the holidays with these wrinkly little leggies!

When my youngest - and smallest of three - was born, she had the skinniest, wrinkliest wee legs, kind of like these ones. A detail I remember so vividly. Yet one that changed completely in the span of a mere two weeks. It may surprise you to learn that I took no photos of this funny little detail. Now, much to my chagrin.

As the saying goes, "babies don't keep".

Photographs do, though. If only just for a little longer.
