"We carve paths through the earth and build bridges to conquer the sky, yet time claims them both in silence.

The concrete stains like old memories, heavy and weathered, while the road pulls us forward into the unknown.

It is the quiet tragedy of human ambition: we create beautiful thresholds, only to pass beneath them and leave them behind."

What can you do when your good isn't good enough

And all that you touch tumbles down?

Cause my best intentions keep makin' a mess of things

But how many times will it take?

Oh, how many times will it take for me to get it right?

So I throw up my fists, throw a punch in the air

And accept the truth that sometimes life isn't fair

Yeah, I'll send out a wish, yeah, I'll send up a prayer

And finally someone will see how much I care.

"There is a haunting poetry in what we leave behind.

This weathered red wood is a vessel for ghosts we aren't ready to let go of, keeping watch over a forest lost to time.

To look at it is to remember a version of ourselves that no longer exists, trapped in a season that will never return."

I think there is something beautifully bittersweet about train tracks.

They remind me that to get anywhere in life,

I have to keep moving forward, even if it means leaving the scenery I love behind."

When I think about trains,

I realize trains carry more than just passengers; trains carry longings, quiet goodbyes, and the heavy, hopeful weight of coming home.

The train tracks always know the way.

This speaks to me.

It makes me think of a time when we were better to each other.

Before social media existed.

When we used to have real conversations with each other, face to face.

I'm clearly not meant for this time.

If you look closely at the very bottom of the vertical section, just above the lower decorative bars, there is a small manufacturer's stamp. It reads "TEXLITE"

Texlite (Texas Neon Advertising Company) was a famous Dallas, Texas-based sign company founded in the 1920s.

They were renowned for high-quality porcelain enamel and neon signs across the American South and Southwest.

This was likely made in the 1940's

I love cameras. 📸

This is one of my favorite cameras.

I had a local business in Texas do a 3D print of this camera.

I'm really happy with it.

We spend our lives waiting for the sun to return, never realizing that the moon is the only one who stayed through the dark.

"They don’t grow them like they used to

— Neither the flowers nor the romances.

There was a time when we moved as slow as the seasons, when a hand held was a promise kept, and love was something you planted to last a lifetime, not just a summer.

I miss the days when hearts were as kind as the gardens they walked in."

"The old boat sits in the reeds now, its paint peeling like sunburnt skin, dreaming of the mornings when the mist was thick and the trout were rising. It doesn’t mind the rest; it carries the weight of a thousand sunsets in its wood."
