As I’m meeting with clients and prospective clients this year, there is always a conversation about whether to do a first look. My suggestion is always the same: do what feels right. A first look can help to settle some nerves, give you a quiet moment together before the chaos of the day ensues, and also give you some extra time for portraits. But, if you want to see each other for the first time walking down the aisle, then go with your gut and skip the first look. Both options are great in their own way 🥰.

Not my usual photography subjects 🐈🐴🐑🦆🐓! I had the opportunity to photograph the very special animals at last year, and here are some of my favourite shots. Fun fact - I used to be an animal care taker volunteer and loved taking pictures of all the animals with just my phone. I would always share these with all the other volunteers and received so much encouragement, which played a part in helping me take that step towards pursuing photography ☺️.

My favourite part of weddings to photograph? The getting ready photos 😍. The slower, in-between moments before ‘I do’ - nerves, smiles and laughter, and hugs that last a little bit longer 💜.
