Happy Mother’s Day to all the incredible moms out there ❤️

The ones wiping tears, tying shoes, packing lunches, answering late night phone calls, and loving their babies through every stage of life, whether they’re tiny in your arms or grown and getting married.

As a wedding photographer, I get a front row seat to some of the most emotional mother-child moments. The quiet helping hands while buttoning up the dress. The teary smiles when they see their baby all grown up. The hugs that say a thousand things without a single word.

A mother’s love shows up in so many ways. In the big moments, the everyday moments, and the behind-the-scenes moments no one else sees.

And of course, this one’s for the dog moms too, because let’s be honest… those babies are spoiled, deeply loved, and absolutely count 🐾

And a very special Happy Mother’s Day to the incredible moms in my own life, my mom, my stepmom, and my mother-in-law. Thank you for your love, support, guidance, and for being such important parts of our lives 🤍

It’s still me… just actually my name now!

Nothing will officially change until January (taxes, makes my life easier to have a clean year end date) but social media, and the new name will start to be changed over soon!

I’ll be giving the change over lots of time! The Ember Dawn Images, website/email/contact information will all still be monitored and eventually redirected. Contacting me isn’t going to all of a sudden get difficult, I promise!

10 years ago today my husband and I went on our first date… and somehow that one night turned into this entire life.
A decade of inside jokes, late-night talks, growing up together, falling apart a little and putting ourselves back together even stronger. We’ve changed so much, but choosing you has never changed.

You’re still my favourite person to do life with, my safest place, and my best decision. I cannot wait to see what the next ten years bring us.
