While exploring British Columbia, we decided to stay in an Airbnb in a small city close to Fernie called Coleman, with a population of around 1400. As we drove into the city, I couldnβt stop admiring the old buildings I saw everywhere, although it was sad to see that most of them are not occupied and seem to be left abandoned. I appreciate the old look and just how buildings looked in the 1970s. A city that was known for its production of coal mines hence its name. We took a stroll around the city and found some cool stuff; the people were also very friendly, although sometimes it took a 2 km walk to meet a person. One of our best times was visiting a small restaurant in the town called ONEMORE; the food was very delicious, and the chef was also very personable and nice. We even vowed to visit the restaurant again in the future. This experience has opened my eyes to the importance of appreciating the little things in the world.
