Some wedding days don’t go according to plan — and end up even better because of it. 🤍

Jessica and Aaron’s day brought a last minute venue change and weather surprises, but everything came together beautifully. From Tangled Roots to the Butternut Tree, their wedding blended wild beauty with downtown romance.

And honestly? Aaron being a golf pro came in handy — this day needed flexibility, patience, and a few unexpected shots ⛳️

Through it all, these two stayed focused on what mattered most: each other. Congrats to the Cooks! I am truly honoured to have been part of this day 🫶✨

One month of Edgar 💛

Things have been a little quieter on here for me, for good reason! We welcomed the final member of our family on Sunday April 5th (Easter Sunday!) 🐰

Special thanks to my friend .rae.photography for taking a few photos for us! She put up with one of my kids burning her foot on my curling iron, me forgetting the baby diapers, and us ripping down the floral arch seamlessly… lol. The most chaotic shoot I’ve ever experienced, ironically it was mostly because of me 😳🙈😂 thanks Meg for putting up with us, we love you always!

Thanks as well to one of my bests for the adorable little knitted outfits for Eddie guy!

It’s about time I get a few of these up here being I am currently 40+2 days🤰It seems little bro is just as stubborn as his sisters were 🙈 The end of pregnancy is a trip, anxiously awaiting your body to do what it’s meant to do. 🙃🫣🙏

How lucky am I to have photographer friends who are willing to document this time in our lives 💛

In February, my girl Jess humoured me and braved the cold for a little outdoor maternity session at the dog park near our house. It’s so amazing to have these and have our dog in the frames as well, in a place that has meaning to us.

We had to say goodbye to our dearest girl Sasha 🐕‍🦺 in March, so we got a few more studio photos done with her by my studio mates and also took advantage of getting a few more family/maternity photos done at the time as well. It also gave me a chance to give the client closet dresses a spin too! 🙌

I’m excited to share this little man with the world soon enough! Wish us luck and send us smooth and positive birthing vibes going into the next 7 days.

Thank you Instagram for allowing Shevon and I to be IG friends for many years! It feels surreal to meet these two in person and be able to document their incredible love story ✨

I love how these two wanted these photos to feel very “them”: a meaningful location, their pup and cozy outfits that they would normally wear. These two have the sweetest love story and I can’t wait to be a part of their big day 🫶
