Cold air, snow on the ground, and the sun slipping through bare branches like it’s quietly saying good morning.

Walking through campus like this before class feels almost magical: crisp, calm, and full of possibility. Today’s destination: Interactive Storytelling. And I have a feeling this might just be my favourite class.

Some mornings remind you exactly why you’re here.

Early mornings have become my new normal: up by 6 AM, out the door by 7:30, and on campus before the day really begins.

There’s something peaceful about walking through the quiet maze of university buildings before the world wakes up. The stillness, the soft light, the sense that, for a brief moment, you have the whole place to yourself.

It’s a reminder that even in the busiest seasons of life, there’s beauty in the quiet starts.

I caught the pre-dawn sky this morning—the city still half-asleep, buildings just barely touched by the light of the coming sun.

It was peaceful in a way I didn’t expect. The city is always moving, always rushing, always loud. But for a few moments, everything felt still.

It made me wonder—what would happen if we all just stopped for a moment to breathe? To take in life as it unfolds, instead of racing past it? Maybe we’ve lost something in forgetting how to pause.

Caught the sunrise on my way to class the other morning—warm, brilliant, and peaceful against the backdrop of torn-up roads and construction chaos.

Everything’s a mess right now in the city, but that sunrise stopped me in my tracks. It was a quiet reminder that even in the middle of disruption, there’s still beauty to be found.

I don’t know what you’re going through, but take a moment to find the calm in your storm—the color in your chaos.
Find your moment.

Five weeks into the semester, and this is the weather I’ve been waiting for—fog curling through the River Valley, leaves burning gold and crimson, and water rushing like it has somewhere important to be.
Fall only comes once a year, and I wish it could last forever. This semester started off rough—snags with accommodations, a learning curve where undergrad tactics don’t quite cut it anymore. But I’m slowly finding my rhythm, building a system that works at this level.

Life outside of school has its own struggles too, but I’m beginning to face them head-on. Step by step.

Because no matter the setbacks, we keep striving. We keep reaching. Our goals, our dreams—they’re what keep us moving forward. They’re what make us human.

Week two of classes, and I still can’t get over this building—it feels like stepping into a magical school every time I walk through the doors. None of this would have been possible without the handful of people who have had faith in me and my abilities even when I dont.

The architecture is sublime, but so is the journey I’m on. As I work to further my education and climb the ladder of academia, I can’t help but wonder: where will I be 5, 10 years from now?

One thing I know for certain: learning never ends. Knowledge is both the path and the destination.
Never stop growing. Never stop seeking. Never stop learning

From a distance, it’s just a building. But for me, it’s a symbol of what’s ahead—late nights, new challenges, discoveries, and the next step toward chasing my dreams.

Higher education is more than the pursuit of knowledge—it’s about growth, resilience, and learning to see yourself in the bigger picture. And no one does it alone. Having a support system—friends, family, mentors—makes the journey not only possible, but meaningful.

From here, it looks far away. Soon, it will be home.

There’s a massive storm rolling overhead—lightning cracking, thunder shaking the ground—and all I can think is how much it mirrors the storms we carry inside.

Life doesn’t always offer clear skies. Some days are loud, chaotic, and heavy. But no matter how fierce the storm, we survive. We grow. We come out the other side changed—sometimes softer, sometimes stronger, always more ourselves.

Mental health isn’t about pretending the storm isn’t there. It’s about learning to breathe through it, to feel it fully, and to keep exploring who we are in its aftermath.

You’re not alone in your storm. And you will see the sky clear again. ⛈️💙

July 21 gave me a sky that looked like it had been stitched together with fire and forgiveness.
A reminder that healing isn’t always soft—it can burn, blaze, and boldly illuminate the truth.

I’ve learned not to shrink myself for those who only value me when I’m easy to carry. I’m not here to be convenient. I’m here to be me—fully, fiercely, unapologetically.

Let the ones who toss you aside watch you rise in your own light. 🌅🔥
