Recently, I found myself sitting in the hospital ER with my grandson.

To keep my hands busy and my own anxiety at bay, I pulled out some of my favorite ultra-soft chenille yarn and started making these little brontosaurus plushies right there in the waiting room.

As soon as they were finished, I passed them along to a couple of other little ones who were waiting to see the doctor. Seeing their faces instantly light up and watching them squeeze their new little dinosaur friends made a stressful night so much brighter.

Every single item I create for my shop is made with that exact same love and care. When you support a small maker, you’re supporting someone who pours their heart into every stitch—and someone who believes a little handmade kindness can change a hard day. 🦖✨

Every layer of this card was carefully die-cut and placed to create a beautiful, textured piece of art. From the intricate red floral lace to the elegant black flourishes and tiny gem accents, mass-produced cards just can't compare. It’s left blank inside so it can adapt to whatever message of comfort, prayer, or love you need to send.

Sometimes, a special message deserves an equally special presentation. I am absolutely in love with how this purple floral card turned out!
From the detailed floral panels you see when it’s closed, to the 3D-pop of the central flower emblem, every detail was made with love.
But the best part? Opening it up to reveal the heartfelt message inside: "Know that love, prayers, and caring surround you today" It's finished with a clean, professional back.

When you’re crocheting while travelling and your grandson says, “ Grandma, did you bring the eyes and noses?”.

Me: “No. I’m going to embroider them on.”

Grandson: “Did you bring your stuffing?”

Me: Slowly raise my head from crocheting…. “No.” Sigh. “Guess I can only crochet so far and I’ll have to wait to finish my critters when I get home.”

I was looking at some of my recent watercolor playtime and realized those abstract green swirls had way too much life in them to end up in the recycling bin.
