I’m not here to photograph only the best parts of motherhood, because we all know that there’s struggles that come with it. I’m here to photograph you doing the damn thing. No matter what is thrown your way, you’re doing it. Whether you’ve needed to ask for help, a break, to step away or just have someone present with you.
However you’re feeling this moment in motherhood, that’s ok. It’s valid. It’s not all sunshine and rainbows. It doesn’t mean these memories are any less important. If you look back on these days as a struggle, the photos are proof that you did the damn thing.
