I recently went to a local craft fair in town and got these beautiful pineapple themed candles. Believe it or not they were from different vendors! I couldn't resist creating a little vignette with them!

Love this cocktail book. I need to use it more as I've actually only made about three recipes (I don't drink that often) but that cover! STUNNING.

Love a good Art Nouveau vibe.

Oh hey! It's been some time. Sorry for dropping off the map. Had a book slump and got very focused on art/work. I read The Love Hypothesis a couple months ago (from the new years Once Upon A Book Club box) and loved it. Saucy, cute, and those...reylo vibes... we all caught that...

I adore Olive and Adam and am excited to read more of Ali Hazelwoods books going forward. This one was a real treat.

I'm going to try and get back into a more consistent posting schedule again. Looking forward to posting a couple of reads from the fall season.

We read The 7 Deaths of Evelyn Hardcastle by Stuart Turton for bookclub in October! What a blast.

We thoroughly enjoyed this one. What a fun mystery and a very unique style. I have some theories about the world/era that Aiden is coming from.

This made for a great discussion!

Not going to lie we definitely read this cause we were curious if there was any connection to The 7 Husbands of Evelyn Hugo. Besides Evelyn being a blonde in a green dress and the title they don't seem to relate!

Michael bought me this gorgeous gem for my Birthday today! Wow so much wow.

It is written by Cait Stevenson who holds a PHD in medieval history. She has taken myth and merged it with historic fact to create this wonderous book: How to Slay a Dragon.

Also just take in the glorious illustrations by Bruno Solís and formatting by Jennifer Chung!

Those drop caps are EVERYTHING. I love it so much.

By far my favourite mystery
/horror so far has been The Southern Book Club's Guide to Slaying Vampires by Grady Hendrix! Such a well written read with some truly viseral scenes.

I can't wait to read the Familiars by Stacey Halls and Witch by Lisa Lister.

what is your favourite thing about spooky season?

Mine is pumpkin pie and apple cider! Also the leaves changing colours and cozy days wrapped in blankets with a book or a movie.

A favourite me is the entire Newsflesh trilogy from Mira Grant! These are such fun books. I like to consider them Political Thrillers with Zombies!

I'm looking forward to starting Invasive by Chuck Wendig and Dead Until Dark by Charlaine Harris.

It's finally starting to cool down here in Ontario 🇨🇦

Why is it your favourite?

Mine is definitely Fall - The colours are so vibrant and the temperature is just right. Also Thanksgiving and my birthday to top it off! This year I even get to fly out west to see my dad's side of the family and one of my best friends 🥰❤

mine is definitely Chris Riddell! His art is so fun and unique. I love how unsettling and illustrative it is.
