These photographs still bring back so many emotions. Every time I look through them, I imagine the feelings this couple will experience when they receive their wedding photos.

Moments like these remind me just how important it is to trust your wedding day to a professional photographer and videographer.

A wedding day goes by so quickly. Emotions come and go, guests head home, the music fades, and the years pass by faster than we expect.

But the memories remain.

Wedding Day!

A wedding day is a lifetime lived in a single day.

It’s the excitement of the morning. The tears of parents. The smiles of friends. The hugs, the laughter, the happy moments and the bittersweet ones. All of it happening at once, creating a day filled with emotion.

And then the years go by.

What remains are the photographs and the memories.

Over the past 17 years of photographing weddings, I’ve heard the same phrase countless times:

"Looking through our photos felt like we were back in that day, reliving it all over again."

That is probably why I love this craft so much. It’s not just about creating beautiful photographs. It’s about preserving moments that people will return to years later.

Moments that can never be repeated, but can be remembered forever.

That is the magic of wedding photography. ❤️📸

An incredible wedding in the Dominican Republic ❤️

The wedding took place in April. I still remember driving to the airport in the middle of the night while it was -5°C in Nova Scotia. Just a few hours later, we found ourselves in true summer: +30°C, sunshine, tropical heat, and love all around us.

It felt like we had escaped the cold, snow, and rain and gone straight into paradise. But nature had a surprise waiting for us. During the second half of the wedding day, a real storm rolled in — strong winds, heavy rain, and massive waves. Almost as if it had been planned just for us. 😊

But even the weather couldn’t stop us from creating beautiful photographs — and maybe it was for the best. Sometimes it’s the unexpected moments that make a story truly unique. In the end, we captured images that will preserve the memories of this special day for a lifetime.

These are the stories that make me love what I do.

To be honest, there is never enough time.

In Canada, the warm and sunny season is very short. From May until the end of October, the weather is usually beautiful, but after that the colder months arrive. That’s completely normal, of course, but it also makes it important to find time for shoots that are purely for the soul — personal ideas, creativity, and passion projects.

I’m grateful that sometimes the weather cooperates and allows me to squeeze in a creative session between commercial shoots. Occasionally, it’s even possible to bring a personal project to life on the same day between client sessions.

And a huge thank you to our model ! I only messaged her that morning, and she immediately supported the idea. Thank you for your help, support, and positive energy!
