Fall is here and going strong.
Sorry I’ve been so swamped by works and barely had time to continue posting regularly here. There are too many I want to share but couldn’t find the right time to plus this little active one (full time working mom guilt) The season has been super busy, but also too beautiful to miss out!
Today should be a rain-free day in Hamilton. If you can, go for a safely distanced outdoor walk! The forecast is telling me to seize the chance before another thunderstorm comes 😂

I love to remind myself this whenever I feel defeated about something. Life isn't always rainbow and unicorn, but I'm glad I have a camera, and I'm even more glad that how editing a photo and seeing this beautiful smile brightens my day.

The ginger gold and pioneer Macintosh apples are ready for picking at the .ca
I first found this farm because of their sunflower fields. I believe most of you who followed my posts already knew how stunning their sunflower fields are. Right now the flowers are not in full bloom anymore so this week’s sessions are cancelled. However, starting early to mid September, the second fields will start blooming and I will be able to start taking bookings for sunflower photo sessions.
Right now, let’s focus on their apple orchards! It is so spacious that your kiddos will have plenty space to run around. You can pick your own apples, experience wagon rides, corn maze and so much more!
If you’re interested in having an apple orchard pick-your-apples photo sessions, please dm me! You won’t be disappointed 😘

During family sessions, I would always ask if I can take a portrait photo for the mom herself (only if the kids are old enough to sit or stay in a safe place beside us).
I don't know about others, so I'll speak for myself. After I had my daughter, the photo thread on my phone is filled with her photos, drastically different from before I had her when my phone was full of my selfies or pictures with friends. When we go out, I would pick the cutest outfit for my daughter and make her hair while throwing myself a romper to go.
But apart from being my daughter's mom, I also have other roles; I am a writer, a photographer, a researcher. I enjoy practicing self-care because I also yearn for time for myself from time to time.
So whenever I have this chance, I want to capture a photo for all the moms as who they are- a mother of a beautiful kid(s) and a beautiful independent person.

Guess what...
It's everyone's favourite sunflower season!
Sunflower fields are definitely one of my absolute favourite places to photograph. The yellow full blooming vibrant colours just light up my mood immediately.

The sunflower sessions will be offered based on very limited availability due to the fact that flowers will not be in their full bloom for a very long time.

And for the best result, all sessions will start after 5:30pm. Thus, only six dates, nine slots in totally are open for booking, until the next bloom (dates TBA).

August 14, 15, 21, 22, 28 and 29.
Every day there are 3 time slots:
5:30-6pm, 6-6:30pm. 6:30-7pm.

The price for each 30 mins session is $200 including field rental fees and tax. You will get 15 edited images in a password protected online gallery to share and view, and full print-sized images will be sent to you directly through email.

Reserve your place asap through DM. Feel free to ask me any questions! Customized packages available upon request.
