We solve the mystery of the Boy Scout Cross on Gaspereau Lake, NS. Thanks to the granddaughter of Scout Leader Walter Woods. The Cross was built in memory of the scouts lost at war.

The Amazing History in our backyards. Gaspereau Lake, Nova Scotia. A friend once showed me a sitting stone, he moved the grass at the edge of the rock and showed me the chips where man sat and knapped points to go fishing a long long time ago. He put the grass back and we walked away. The lake has changed but the river still hold many stories. The birds still tell us when the fish are here and the animals can still teach us. I don't think I could find the rock today but will never forget that day.
Today this is a protected site ...

Canoeing the Gaspereau Lake and watching the Loons, eagles and jumping fish. We have followed the migrating fish to the height of the land here in Nova Scotia. ( 3200 views )

It was a Privilege to Canoe with Greg Dorey on Gaspereau Lake. This is Greg's home and home of the second largest site for native finds in Nova Scotia ( A Protected Site ) We enjoyed lots of fish jumping, eagles and loons fishing. Thank You Greg for a great Day.
