Finished my last shoot yesterday (until May next year). I shot 70-plus families and weddings this year (including getting married myself), become pregnant (due in February) and trained and fundraised for the 220km Ride to Conquer Cancer (cycled pregnant). I'm spending the next couple months revamping my marketing and branding and gearing up to become a mom.

THANK YOU to the more than 70 families, bridal couples and gorgeous ladies who trusted me to be their photographer this year! I have one more shoot scheduled before Christmas then plan on kicking back and enjoying the rest of my pregnancy with good books and cups of tea.

So excited for my new leather-bound 2010 portfolio book to arrive. I think it will be tomorrow (praying to the UPS Gods). If you were a client in 2010, chances are a few of your shots are in it. This will be my go-to book to show future clients my work and also as a memory of all of the great people I photographed this year.

Photographed a totally awesome former Canadian bobsledder yesterday at Canada Olympic Park in Calgary. It made me wish I was a world-class athlete. My only hope is to still be racing triathlons into my 80's so that I'm the only one in my age group to win a medal!
