Excited to officially welcome Blake Dennill .a.d_glass into the .inthewild gallery!

Blake is a stained glass artist based out of Radium whose work blends handcrafted stained glass with pieces of nature. The results are some truly one-of-a-kind pieces that feel both wild and refined.

We now have his piece “Mountain Sunrise” on display and seeking its forever home! Stained glass mounted along a naturally shed deer antler, designed as a striking table centrepiece or a statement art piece for your home.

You’ve really got to see this in person to fully appreciate it, so come by the gallery and check it out!

It’s been a long time since I’ve posted this image. So time for a little throwback Thursday. This image is called Bighorn Gaze and it’s particularly meaningful to me, because it was the first image that I took that received widespread encouragement, most notably by being recognized by Nat Geo.
Nothing really groundbreaking comes from that recognition, just a few extra eyeballs and some cool bragging rights. But I think the most valuable takeaway was that it gave me a greater sense of confidence in my imagery at a time when I was still very green. Enjoy!
