First hike under the belt for this summer, and as usual it hurt the day after. Worth it for some good friend time and a view from a pretty solid bench viewpoint! I didn’t have my big lens for the hawk photo - 600mm isn’t too ‘hike friendly’ so I chose premium snacks instead.

Managed to secure a personal photo that’s I’ve sought for at least 5 years. The opportunity never lined up even though I’ve been in the area a number of times over the years. I’m pleased to have captured Morant’s Curve in ‘peak winter’ (a complete reset overnight which happened to create a wonderful winter vibe for my last day) AND with the train passing through in the preferred direction 🚂
