I wish I had spent more time with this old truck. I snapped some pictures quickly, moved on and didn’t even really put much thought into them.

The other two are from my walk to the RMHC at the end of the day. I’m not sure how I feel about them but it is a reminder that I am practicing being in the moment and not always allowing my thoughts to keep me in autopilot.

N should be coming home tomorrow! In time for a quiet Christmas.

This time of year can be really overwhelming for a lot of us. My hope for you is to be able to take a moment back from the chaos, take a breath and appreciate the beauty around you whether it be something big and flash or small and meaningful ❤️

It’s been a while, hi everyone! Can you believe it’s December?
Last month both boys were admitted to sick kids. D first then a week later N, via an ambulance. D luckily bounced back quickly and was discharged last week. Mr N has been in the ICU for 3 weeks now but improving on his own time.

It has also been a while since I’ve really captured any photos.

Walking to the hospital from the Ronald McDonald House Charities (RMHC) the other morning, this bicycle caught my attention.
I hadn’t seen it previously or since so I’m glad I decided to take that moment.

It’s absolutely the most wonderful time of the year 🍂🍁🥰
Thursday was such a beautiful day! This was the only picture I managed to take. Not surprising I suppose these days.

I’m excited to be getting out this week. I don’t want to miss the colours! Fingers crossed for some beautiful fall clouds, heavy and grey shining in the sun as well 🤗🥰

This has turned onto a year of presence over pixels, and I’ve really been grateful for this shift. A bit unexpected but I know it’s what my soul needed.
Fall is my favourite time of year and I'm itching to capture some beautiful pictures! 🍂
If I don’t that’s ok too! I know i’ll continue nurturing my sense of wonder and listen to what my mind and body needs.
I hope you all are finding some joy and peace, how ever that may look.

If you know me you know there are 2 things in this world I will always take a few extra minutes for! Thunderstorms 🌩️ and the moon 🌕 🥰

I was so fortunate to have captured a once in a lifetime shot yesterday! The universe is truly magical, always listening and if you keep your mind and heart open, always respons.
I asked if I could get one more bolt of lightning ⚡️
I never could have imagined receiving such a beautiful response in the most perfect position!
I gave my thanks and left feeling euphoric☺️

Now we have a super full blue moon and on my birthday🥰 it will be the perfect ending to a great day.

What a fast summer we’re having!
We said goodbye to our house earlier this month and got the keys to our next adventure all while managing the boys who seem to be playing ping pong with who’s sick.
I’ve managed to keep them out of hospital during this time, even with a very close call of calling an ambulance 😩
I haven’t had a chance or the energy really to get out and see what this beautiful world has to show me but I will.

Popping in to say hi 👋
Not sure how we got to June 19th 🤷‍♀️ life is crazy as usual and time is flying by too quickly.

I haven’t been taking as many pictures these days. Not because I don’t want to but I’ve been really enjoying being in the moment, enjoying nature. When I go back to look at the pictures I’ve taken I’m always surprised thinking “that’s all I took?!” 😅

Thank you to everyone who supported me this month by stopping by Elpida to take a look at some of my photos and a big thank you to those who bought a framed print.

It’s a surreal feeling, knowing that someone sees something in a piece that’s essentially a part of me.

I know the story. I know the emotions linked to each photograph. A photograph that now hangs on someone’s wall. I hope they can make their own stories and give new life to it! ☺️
