Outstanding show last night by Kurt Vile and the Violators with The Sadies starting their leg of a run of dates on the tour. Packed house of many smiling faces at the incredibly beautiful vintage Corona Teatre Théâtre Beanfield in the Little Burgundy hood in Montréal. Too much fun hanging with the crew after the show. One of these guys is in B.C. right now playing his ass off!! HEY VANCOUVER NANAIMO & B.C. GO SEE Steve Hill!!! His One Man Band show is a wall of sound that will move your internal organs. HAS to be experienced in person - highly recommend seeing him at the world class Blue Frog Studios, one of Canada's BEST listening rooms.

First Unitarian Congregation of Ottawa was such an incredibly beautiful setting for OK Naledi’s set at Ottawa Grassroots Festival. One of my fav hometown hero’s, they can be seen live all over the city, working hard in the best rooms in Ottawa. Highly recommend!! The past few months have been an absolute sprint, it's high time to take a quick look back through pics to thank EVERYONE who showed interest, sent messages, bought prints, commented and supported my "It's About Time" photo show at Irene's Pub back in March. Flohil, just know that your large print with Svetlana sparked many a conversation. For any interested, I'm offering reduced pricing on The Painted Lady large print, as well as a few others. DM for info. The entire experience was way beyond my expectations, and an immediate success just by having framed prints up on the wall. Happy to say there's a few other projects in the works.

Looking back on a very special evening with Alysha Brilla and OK Naledi performing the Fri night at Ottawa Grassroots Festival. Alysha took requests from the audience and was surprised at how many fans called out their favourite songs, which she spontaneously remixed into a beautiful medley. The super talented captured the performance in a live painting, as well as a pre-show personalized face paint of Alysha’s cat. Congrats to all the crew at OGRF and First Unitarian Congregation of Ottawa for a very intimate weekend of top talent.
